The candidate will be able to:
- describe the procedure for a seller in
selling a house or flat ie the main stages from initial
instructions to completion, including redeeming an existing
mortgage
- describe the procedure for a buyer in
purchasing a house or flat ie the main stages including initial
instructions, making searches and registration
- describe the significance of exchange of
contracts and completion
- describe the role of estate agents in
the sale and purchase of property eg marketing the property, HIP
preparation, introducing prospective buyers, releasing the keys to
the buyer on completion.
