Assignments

In addition to passing a multiple-choice test based on The Legal Environment unit, a candidate will also need to complete an assignment for the other unit(s) they study.

To achieve:

the Level 2 Award in Legal Studies qualification, a candidate will need to complete one assignment from:

  • Principles of Criminal Law
  • Principles of Debt Recovery
  • Law in the Workplace
  • Personal Injury Procedures
  • Consumer Rights
  • Family Law
  • Probate Practice and Administration
  • Conveyancing.

the Level 2 Certificate in Legal Studies qualification, a candidate will need to complete the Principles of Liability assignment plus one assignment from:

  • Principles of Criminal Law
  • Principles of Debt Recovery
  • Law in the Workplace
  • Personal Injury Procedures
  • Consumer Rights
  • Family Law
  • Probate Practice and Administration
  • Conveyancing.

the Level 2 Diploma in Legal Studies qualification, a candidate will need to complete the Principles of Liability assignment plus four assignments from:

  • Principles of Criminal Law
  • Principles of Debt Recovery
  • Law in the Workplace
  • Personal Injury Procedures
  • Consumer Rights
  • Family Law
  • Probate Practice and Administration
  • Conveyancing.

A candidate is given the opportunity to achieve a Pass, Merit or Distinction in all the assignments.
