Level 6 Professional Higher Diploma in Law
The outgoing Level 6 Professional Higher
Diploma in Law requires specialist study in three law papers and
one practice paper.
You decide which law papers and which practice
paper to undertake from the subjects in Tables A and B. The
practice paper you choose must be linked to one of the law
papers and should, if you are in employment, reflect your work
specialism.

* These subjects are examined once a year at
the summer examination session. They are not usually examined at
the autumn examination session. However, in 2009 ALL subjects
including those marking with an * will be examined in both June and
October 2009.
# These subjects are part of the foundations
of legal knowledge which are the core of the academic stage to
qualify as a solicitor.
