Update for Current
Students
Examinations for the Level 3 Professional Diploma in Law - Exam
Route are offered for the final time in October 2009. Students who
are currently studying the Level 3 Professional Diploma should
continue with their studies for this qualification and aim to
complete the examinations by October 2009.
After October 2009, students studying the outgoing Level 3
Professional Diploma in Law who have not completed all the elements
of the qualification will be able to take units from the new
Level 3 Certificate and Diploma in Law and Practice to complete the
outgoing Level 3 Professional Diploma in Law under the
transitional arrangements.
New
Students
New ILEX students should register for the
new Level 3 Certificate and
Professional Diploma in Law and Practice
which is introduced in September 2008.
Structure of the
(outgoing) Professional Diploma in Law - Exam
Route
The Level 3 Professional Diploma in Law – Examination Route is
usually completed over 2 years. However, the qualification may be
completed in less than 2 years.
Candidates usually take a Law Paper and a pair of Practice
Papers at the end of each year as follows:
