Affiliate Member upgraded to an Associate Member...

If you are an Affiliate Member of the Institute who has upgraded to an Associate Member during the CPD year (January to December), you will not be required to complete any CPD until the start of the CPD year following your upgrade to Associate.

Associate Members upgraded to a Graduate Member...

If you are an Associate Member of the Institute who has upgraded to a Graduate Member during the CPD year (January to December), you will only be required to complete 8 hours of CPD during that year. You will be required to complete 12 hours CPD from the start of the CPD year following your upgrade to Graduate Membership.

Graduate Members upgraded to a Fellow...

If you are a Graduate Member of the Institute who has upgraded to a Fellow during the CPD year (January to December) you will only be required to complete 12 hours CPD during that year. You will be required to complete 16 hours CPD from the start of the CPD year following your upgrade to Fellowship.

Those of you who are Self-Employed...

Associate Members, Graduate Members or Fellows who are self-employed, whether providing legal services or otherwise, will be required to complete CPD in accordance with the Regulations.
