2010 ILEX National Conference
Thursday 11 March
2010
The Institute of Legal Executives (ILEX) is the professional
body for trainee and practicing Legal Executives. Our role is
to enhance the position and standing of Legal Executives in the
legal profession. We work closely with Government and the Ministry
of Justice and are recognised as one of the three core
regulators of the legal profession and influencers of law
reform.
Our 2010 National Conference is the perfect opportunity for
Members, Advocates and other Legal Executives to enhance
their knowledge of the latest issues facing the legal world.
Benefits to you
The initial part of the event offers all delegates the chance to
hear from UK leaders in the field and will focus on what they
believe the future holds for the legal sector and for the Legal
Executive profession in particular.
During the breaks and in particular the buffet lunch there will
be plenty of time for networking with your peers and to meet with
the exhibitors. After lunch you will head over to your chosen
workshop to complete your CPD, now 6 CPD hours for
workshops 1-3 and 7 CPD hours for workshop 4.
For most of our membership grades it is necessary to undertake a
certain amount of CPD. Our workshops have
been tailored to enable you to work towards this with
training based on the specific skills you need within your own
particular area of expertise.
Benefits to your organisation
Within the legal profession you need to be constantly aware of
changes in the legal environment, undertaking regular CPD enables
you offer a comprehensive service to your company’s clients. Our
2010 National Conference allows you to improve on your knowledge
and skills in a succinct manner, requiring only a single day out of
the office.
