Medals and Awards

CILEx presents a number of prestigious medals of its own and also supports external awards including, the Law Society's Legal Executive of the Year Award.

We also participate in the City and Guilds Medals for Excellence Awards for those studying on our joint Legal Secretary and Legal Studies (Paralegal) courses and present our own CILEx Annual Prize at the same event.

CILEx encourages its members to put themselves forward for awards, particularly those members who are acting as case studies due to their exemplary contribution to the profession. As such, CILEx members have won medals at the VQ Adult Learner Awards and the Minority Lawyer Awards.

The 2010 CILEx Medals were presented at the 2011 Graduation Ceremony on 11 April 2011 at the Bedford Corn Exchange, apart from the Pro Bono Medal, which was presented at a lunch with the sponsors and the ILEX President on 11 August 2011.
