Practice rights
ILEX members mainly practise as employees and their rights to
undertake work independently are restricted. At present ILEX
members have rights to do the following:
- administer Oaths;
- exercise rights of audience;
- provide immigration advice and services; and
- exercise rights available to Associate Prosecutors.
Each of the above rights has rules under which they are
exercised. Details of each practice right can be found by
