Other codes
Members of ILEX may be subject to other Codes
and Principles as well as the ILEX Code of Conduct. The
guidance in the ILEX Code recognises this.
Members may be employees in practices
regulated by other professional bodies and in those instances they
will have to comply with the Codes, Principles and rules applicable
to their employers.
ILEX members who have qualified as Legal
Executive Advocates must also comply with the advocacy
code. This is called the Rights of Audience Conduct
Rules. These set out the standards expected of members when
exercising advocacy rights. A copy of the Rights of Audience
