Investigation procedures
Complaints about the conduct of ILEX members are investigated in
accordance with the Investigation, Disciplinary and
Appeals Rules (IDAR). The IDAR details the full
complaints and disciplinary procedure and the powers available to
IPS. The procedure is summarised here.
In some instances IPS may commence an investigation upon receipt of
information, in the absence of a complaint, which indicates that
misconduct may have occurred.
