Mr Farrar misappropriated the total sum of £1,800 by taking money which belonged to the clients of his then employing firm, and money which belonged to the firm.  Mr Farrar was subsequently cautioned by the police for an offence of theft for the misappropriation of that money. 

Mr Farrar admitted the misconduct and a determination by consent was agreed between IPS and Mr Farrar.

Mr Farrar was excluded from membership of ILEX for a minimum period of two years.  In order to be readmitted as a member of ILEX following the two year exclusion, Mr Farrar would be required to make an application to ILEX and make a payment to ILEX in respect of any outstanding subscription fees.  Any application for readmission received from Mr Farrar would be considered by the Professional Conduct Panel.
