Complaint
The complaints against Miss Coates were:
1. That Miss Coates made a false accusation that Mrs K had accessed Miss Coates’ medical records without her consent; and
2. That Miss Coates made a false statement that Mrs K was to be arrested for assault.
Outcome
The complaints were found proved.
Penalty
The Professional Conduct Panel warned Miss Coates that she must maintain high standards of professional behaviour and communication at all times.
