MoJ Lord Chancellor warrant regulations
Consultation from the Ministry of Justice
(MoJ) considering the Lord Chancellor’s power under Sections 42(6)
and 48(6) of the Legal Services Act 2007 to make regulations
concerning the issue of warrants authorising the Legal Services
Board (LSB) to search and enter premises of an Approved Regulator
and take possession of records. The consultation closed
on 21 January 2010. IPS and ILEX tendered a joint
response.
