LSB Rules for applications for Qualifying Regulator status
Consultation from the Legal Services Board (LSB) outlining the
LSB’s approach to satisfying Schedule 18 of the Legal Services Act
2007 which requires the LSB to make rules specifying how it will
determine applications to allow a body to apply to become a
Qualifying Regulator of immigration advice and services. In
the consultation the LSB proposed to adapt its current Rules for
Approved Regulator Designation Application to include rules for
Qualifying Regulators to reflect the requirements of Schedule 18 of
the Legal Services Act 2007. The consultation closed on 28
January 2011.
