LSB: Developing regulatory standards
Consultation from the Legal Services Board (LSB) outlining its
proposal to implement a modernised approach to regulation. In
the consultation the LSB proposed that approved regulators
implement outcomes-focused regulatory frameworks. The
consultation outlined how the LSB will assess the extent to which
approved regulators' regulatory frameworks are consistent with the
overarching regulatory objectives set out in the Legal Services Act
2007. The consultation closed on 11 July 2011.
