LSB: Alternative Business Structures: appeal arrangements
Consultation from the Legal Services Board (LSB) in relation to
the SRA’s application to be designated as a licensing authority;
which appointed the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal (SDT) as its
appellate body to hear appeals against decisions appealable under
Part 5 of the Legal Services Act 2007. The consultation
introduced a draft section 80 order. The consultation closed
on 2 June 2011.
