Membership Diversity
ILEX is proud of our record on diversity, and rightly
so. On average 75% of our members are women, and around 13% of all
our members are black or of a ethnic minority (the most recent
census put the figure at 7.9% for the UK population as a
whole).
We believe that these figures reflect the opportunities that
ILEX provides for everyone to access a rewarding career in law. We
will continue to encourage those from across all groups to
look to the ILEX route to fulfill their ambitions.
