Alan Johnson signals review of law after man jailed for beating

The Telegraph reports today that Alan Johnson, the Home
Secretary, has said the government would re-examine the law after
the jailing of Munir Hussain, the businessman convicted of
beating
a burglar who tied up his family at knifepoint after breaking into
their home.
