ILEX Elects 2012 President

Nick Hanning, the first legal executive to become a partner in a legal disciplinary practice, has been elected the Deputy Vice-President of ILEX for 2010-11.

Mr Hanning, a partner at RWPS in Bournemouth, chairs the ILEX Pro Bono Forum. He said: 'For the first time ever, the Deputy Vice-President was elected by the whole of Council in an open vote and I am very honoured to have been chosen by my colleagues. Looking ahead, it is a great privilege to represent the growing number of excellent, committed and professional lawyers and trainee lawyers who make up our membership and I look forward to continuing to work hard to ensure equality of opportunity for all our members in all areas of the legal profession
