ILEX regularly responds to government consultations on behalf of its members.  ILEX members with practical experience and knowledge are invited to submit views for consideration in the ILEX response.  To add your views on any current papers click on the paper below.

• 05.10 Mortgages: The Power of Sale and Residential Property
  Consultation from the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) on the sale of homes by mortgage lenders. Deadline for responses 28 March 2010.
• 04.10 Referral Arrangements
  Consultation paper from the Legal Services Consumer Panel to provide evidence on the above. Deadline Monday 8 February 2010.
• Joint Consultation by the ILEX Professional Standards (IPS), Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) and the Bar Standards Board on Advocacy Standards
  IPS, the SRA and the BSB are consulting jointly on advocacy standards in criminal proceedings. Deadline for responses 22 March 2010.
